However this isn’t where the story began. The power couple met in Nairobi, Kenya where they had their first restaurant called “Shamsadeen” Restaurant”. It was a very popular spot at the time and attracted a lot of business. Due to political reasons our family had to move the United States in 2001. After a couple of years here the couple wanted to start up their restaurant venture once again. In 2009 Golf Ethiopian Restaurant was founded and has been going strong for 11 years. Since then we’ve hired family as well as local community members We take a huge pride in our food and customers.
